Originally built in 1952 as a manufacturing building for J.C. Busch Co., 88Nine Radio Milwaukee (88.9fm) made the building their new home in August of 2013. Today, the space has new studios equipped with the latest technology; sound-proof recording studios for broadcasting, recording and production; a 100-seat performance studio for live performances and events; opportunities for local musicians to meet and collaborate in a physical space, and more.

88Nine Radio Milwaukee plays a distinctive blend of rock and urban music, and spins at least one track by a Milwaukee artist every hour. The station is a continuous source of Milwaukee pride – featuring local music, arts and culture, as well as promoting Milwaukee neighborhoods and community organization. 88Nine celebrates diversity and encourages community engagement, all while boasting a positive global identity for Milwaukee.

Visitors will be treated to a behind the scenes tour of 88Nine Radio Milwaukee’s new home in the Walker’s Point neighborhood of the city. Enjoy a guided tour of the building’s 2,500 square foot green roof, an array of recording studios, a 100-seat performance space where national and Milwaukee bands regularly perform, and much more!
